Bird Island Northern

I was Walleye fishing on opening day with my brother and my son. We were using slip bobbers when my bobber went down slightly and quickly popped back to the surface. I thought something small was messy with me... Then my bobber went down slowly so I set the hook and it was game on. Since I had light test line and no leader, I needed to let the fish run multiple times. Of course, it circled the boat and got tangled in my brothers line. By this time we realized it was a big northern. My son grabbed the net and after multiple times he was able to hand the "Bird Island Northern".
